This is a water filter housing designed for use within various models of refrigerator. This water filter housing is made to hold and secure the water filter inside of your refrigerator. If you notice water leaking from behind your refrigerator, this housing may be damaged. This filter housing measure 7.5 inches long, is made mostly of plastic, and features access for the two inlets of your water filter. To replace this housing, you will need to gain access to the bottom rear or bottom front of your refrigerator and replacing it will require a screwdriver. This OEM filter housing is sold on its own, and does not come with any other parts or accessories.

Fixed it just right
Had a broken water filter housing on my Whirlpool refrigerator. The water would pour out whenever the filter was removed (which happened unintentionally several times). Now I don't.
Easy repair. Remove two screws and two hoses. Replaced housing. Put screws and hoses into new housing. Now it works.

I have Whirlpool with a filter house that wont stay close. The housing door pops open and the filter pops out and leaks. Do i need to replace the housing?

I have a Whirlpool Model # WRS325FDAM04. The water filter housing door at the bottom grill came off and I can't get it back on. The water filter is still in place. What can I do
