Thank goodness for this part!
My son got it installed and I now have ice being made!!! He did watch a lot of You Tube videos thru out the whole process of determining first what was wrong with the ice maker. I ordered the part, and it was promptly shipped. He finally got up here yesterday afternoon and installed and set it. The first sound of ice being dropped was wonderful.

Fridge makes ice door opens, but auger doesn't engage

My frige won't dispense ice. It makes ice but ice won't come out.

Thank you for your question. If the ice maker is not making ice, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the water filter, the ice maker motor kit, the cycling thermostat and the motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Ice maker is not making ice. Water dispenser not turning on. I’ve replaced the inlet valve but no luck. The ice maker auger works with the door control but it won’t cycle (water fill or cube ejector not working.

Thank you for your question. If the water dispenser is not dispensing water and the ice maker is not dispensing ice, you will need to check the water filter, cycling thermostat, the ice make the water inlet valve and the light switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
