Easy Repair
The part was easy enough to find on the website, but took longer to receive than we thought it would. Turns out it was on back-order which we only learned when we logged back on to the site wondering what was taking so long. Had we received an “item on back order” email, I would have given 5 stars. In fairness to partselect.com, we did receive the part quickly once they got it in.

Door strike
This door strike was just what I needed, it worked perfectly. When I looked on the schematic for this part it was easy to find. I will come back to parts select for all the parts I need. I highly recommend parts select if you need parts for something.

Dishwasher door strike piece broke. Door had to be propped closed each time dishwasher was used.
Took out the two retaining screws and pulled the unit forward. Took the old door strike out and put in the new one. This site is where I go for all my appliance repair parts!!!

Broken Handle & Latch
Intuitive repair if you are one of those people that take things apart & put them back together for kicks. Nothing fancy about this repair, as all the parts have no adjusting. Remove the 6 phillips heads screws on the inside of the dishwasher panel. The front electric panel comes off, leaving the inside exposed with the wires. Unhook
... Read more4 wires to the handle. Remove (2) star shaped screw headed screws. (The most difficult part if you don't have this bit.) New handle can only go in one way. Re-attach wires & screw panel back on. The latch required pulling the dishwasher out a couple inches from under the countertop to access the mounting screws. The dishwasher is held in place with 2 screws into the countertop/or side cabinet. Slide dishwasher out. Remove 2 screws and replace. Once again, there is only one way the latch can be installed. All is good, and easily accomplished in 5 minutes....if you have the "star" bit, which does come in a couple different sizes.
Removed damaged strike plate from dishwasher and screwed new part into place. Tested and dishwasher worked fine. Took less than 15 minutes to get the job done. Was very pleased with how fast the part was delivered.

Striker
Removed the 4 screws that held the dishwasher in place, tilted it out, removed 2 nut screws on striker, installed new striker and put it back together. Very simple.
Thank you for stocking the parts and shipping them as promised.
Both the door latch assembly and strike broke on the dishwasher. I was happy to find both parts available at PartSelect.com. Simply removed mounting screws so I could pull the dishwasher out, removed the old strike, disconnected the 4 wire attachments and removed the ddor latch assembly, and re-assembled with the new parts. Pretty easy jo

My door would not close, so I could not turn on the dishwasher.
It was simple, I do have extended warranty from AHS, but they charge me a trip charge of $55 per repair, and then all parts and labor is covered. But when I checked with Parts Select the parts costed me about $10, so I decided to do it myself.
While I was at it, I also bought other parts and updated my dishwasher with some upg

Good place to buy any parts from, they are very helpful, if you do not know your parts. They even had drawings of my dishwasher, and this actually helped me find what kind of other parts I could buy to upgrade my dishwasher.
Parts select is on my favorites list and pass it on to all my friends.
Easy as pie. I tokk the screws out that held the dishwasher to the counter top out. Then removed the screws holding the strike in place, inserted the new one, installed screws and then rescrewed the 2 screws backintothe countertop. Job done. All told 5 minutes.

Press one of the wash selection, then press start but it does nothing only thing comes on the monitor is the number 95 when press start for normal wash. Why wont it start
For model number FDB2810LDC1
Hi Carde,
Thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that could cause your machine not to start. You should first test the door switches on your door latch to see if they are working correctly. If they are not your control board will not receive any power. You should also check your turbidity sensor. You can test all of those parts with a multi meter. If all of those parts are fine, you may have to look at your control board as being the issue. Good luck with your repair.

I used my dishwasher quite a bit for thanksgiving, but then the rest of the weekend was making jellies and used it several times to sanitize. Turned it on last night for regular wash and discovered it isn't turning on. I don't think it is the panel switch, wondering if i burnt out a coil ?
For model number LFBD2409LB0B
Hello Pam, Thank you for the question. The best way to know if the element is defective is to test it with a Multi Meter and check for continuity. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Lights up the panel but nothing happens. Washing light comes on. Pump tested good. Tested resistance across the water valve switch and it read closed circuit.
For model number Frigidaire ffd2406nw11b
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher will not start and both the pump and the water inlet valve are working correctly, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will also need to check the door latch assembly and the electronic control board. You will find the information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
The latch which opens the door of the dishwasher came off. I do not see any place where it is broken. Is there a way to put it back in place?
For model number FDB345LBB1
Hello Scott & Gloria,
Thanks for your question. Unplug the dishwasher. Remove the screws to release the control panel and pull it off. Remove the mounting screws to detach the door latch assembly fully, and then install it back into place using the screws and ensure the wiring is secure.
I hope this helps.
