The shield kit is a kit containing the blade shield, the shield bracket, and all the necessary nuts, washers, and screws. Parts consist mainly of black metal. Installation is rated as "Easy" and will require a screw driver, pliers, socket set and nut driver. This kit attaches on the end of the trimmer around the cutting blade or string, and prevents debris from flying out in all directions, and protects you from injury.
