I need to replace the seal on the oven door - do I have to use Dacor parts? And if yes, can you point me that direction please?
For model number CPS130
Hello Eileen, thank you for your question. The correct OEM Door Seal is part PS16632559. Here is how one customer replaced it. Disassembled oven door (MANY screws), but gasket fit perfectly. Used several short lengths of painter's tape to hold gasket in place while reinstalling cover plate screws. We look forward to hearing from you.
I did not do the repair since the part shipped was not the correct one. I have contacted Customer Service by phone and mail and nothing has been resolved.
I would, at least, like to return the incorrect part. An new one would be great but not holding out hope.
Purchased a screw extractor set from the local Ace Hardware (SpeedOut). Be sure and carefully follow the screw extractor instructions as written (counterclockwise turn). Removed old screws and replaced them with new screws supplied by PartSelect.
