Hello James, thank you for your question. It is normal to have a small amount of water left under the drum. That water gets changed every time you run the machine. We hope this helps.

Pervious question: (small amount of liquid in inner tub). The small amount of liquid is in the "inner" tub. I've removed it from the outer tub to replace the seal and in doing so could hear and feel liquid sloshing around in the "inner" tub. Normal? If not suggestions to attempt to drain it please. Sorry for your misunderstanding of original inquiry. //jim

Hi James,
Thank you for your question. If there is water in the tub when the washer is not in use, the water inlet valve may be malfunctioning and causing the tub to fill with water. This could also be caused by water not completely draining from the tub. You will also need to check the drain pump and the drain hose to see if they are clogged. You will find the information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
