My microwave is 5 years old. Was working great, then out of no where it made a funny noise and stopped. We unplugged, checked the power, plugged in back in and when you open the door, the lite will come on. The keyboard does not respond. The display screen shows: A pic of a fan, pic of a hand turning a dial, has am pm, then 88:88 with oz, kg,lbs all on the top line, bottom line: Pic of a triangle then what looks like 8888888888 with hash marks in them. What do you think is wrong. Ive never had an appliance go bad after just 5 years. Im told that it would cost $100 plus to have it checked out and that doesn't include parts/repairs, and i should just go buy another one. My husband and i are quite handy if this is something we could fix on our own thanks for your time

The trim on the front of the extenda-vent got deformed by prolonged exposure of steam from cooking on the stovetop. Ditto for the plastic cover on the control panel (it's buckled now). Are there replacement parts? Thank you.
