Lower GE dishwasher rack - rusting
After 5 years and using proper paint to cover rust , broke down and ordered part as an assembly w/wheels. Easy to remove old one and new one could only go in one way. No problem.

Design Change
The part description failed to indicate design changed from lower rack design that came with dishwasher. The front of the rack extends out into the door curve that previously allowed for the silverware rack to be placed to allow for more space to place dishes in the rack itself.

Original dishwasher racks. Both top and bottom had several prongs rust and break off. Leaving half the racks useless.
Ordered both a top and bottom rack. It's as simple as pulling the old ones out and sliding the new ones in. There's two small clips for the tops rack that need opened and placed the new rack. As well as the plastic blade. No tools were needed for any of it. Would highly recommend these as replacements if someone needs them. Couldn't be an

Dish rack prongs rusted and broke off
It wasnt exactly the right lower dish rack to hold silverware holder. Instead of the trouble of sending it back we will use it. Silverware holder takes up some of the space for other dishes.

Upper and lower dishwasher racks were rusted after only 2+ years
The upper rack required removal and reinstallation of the end caps and spray arm. Not a problem, just went on YouTube and watched the videos. The lower rack was just a matter of removing the old and installing the new. Yes, the utensil basket can not be replaced in the front, it has to be placed in the bottom rack. I installed mine on th

Deteriorated dishracks
Quite simple. Only disassembly/reassembly was the spray mechanism attached to the bottom of the Upper Rack. Snaps off old and on to new rack with no tools. On this dishwasher model, there is no hose assembly running to water port, but the spray assembly is instead a integrated tube with a male port that "plugs" into a female port on bac

To fit such that the door closes, the silverware rack is at the back of the unit versus the front. Somewhat inconvenient. Can put silverware rack in front, but then less efficient for dishes.
this was ordered 4-9-21 and I have yet to receive it. Its difficult to explain the installation when you haven't received the main part. I paid for this but you have not shipped it. Very poor customer service.
Upper and lower racks rusted in less than 2 years.
Ordered the Upper and Lower rack assemblies. Lower rack slid right in as the wheels came with it. Upper rack had to be removed from rails and old spray arm removed so it could be used with new rack (spray arm does not come with it). Whole process took about 10 minutes, no tools needed other than your hands. Overall, installation was n
