One of the nylon cables for the door counter balance broke
Preface: I had to remove the dishwasher anyway since I was replacing cabinets. So sitting in the garage it took less than 10 minutes to replace both sides. If I had to do this with dishwasher installed...2 screws pull dishwasher out 6 inches, unhook the spring, unhook the cable, hook new cable, rehook spring. This part is a replacement wheel assembly for your lower dishrack. The wheels on the dishrack allow it to roll in and out of the dishwasher efficiently. If one of your wheels is broken or warped, you will need to replace it. Be sure to inspect the dishrack tines that connect to the wheels when making this repair. Occasionally they can become damaged or rusted out, and in this case, you may have to buy a new dishrack. Most lower racks contain 8 individual wheels, but they are sold individually. The wheel is approximately 1.5 inches in diameter and is made of gray plastic.

The soap dispenser didn’t dispense the soap
After shutting off power to the dishwasher, I removed the two screws holding the door cover on the inside of the door sides, about 8 inches from the bottom of the door. I slid the cover down and off, and unplugged the wires to the dispenser. Then I removed the six screws holding the dispenser in place, removed the old dispenser, installed the new one, replaced the six screws and plugged the wires back in. The door cover and the two screws was all that was left. It took about ten minutes. Easy.
