The existing filter had not been cleaned regularly for about three (3) years, so it needed to be replaced.

I used a screw driver and pliers to remove the existing filter. Before installing the new filter, I vacuumed the front grill as well as the metal cooling coils to remove any dust or dirt. I then istalled the new filter by pushing it into the space in front of the metal cooling coils. No tools were required. I then replaced the front grill. Read more...
