This is the rear mounting installation kit for various models of washer and dryer. This kit comes with a quantity of fourteen, 16-gauge, 1/2-inch mounting screws, and two, 2-inch wide metal rear brackets and two, 3/4-inch metal front brackets. This kit is installed to allow a pedestal to be installed beneath your washer or dryer. Depending on your washer or dryer model, you will need to check your user manual for the appropriate mounting instructions and locations. To ensure your own safety, it is recommended that at least two people are involved in this installation process, due to the weight and size of the appliance. To install this kit, you will need a screwdriver and wrench or pliers.

Bent slide on pedestal

Note that the problem was with the pedestal, not the washing machine. In the process of attaching the two units together, the drawer in the pedestal is removed. When I tipped the assembly up, the slide slid out and locked horns with an object, bending the slide. The slide is an easy replacement. Just one screw holds it in place. Drawer under washer was frozen, would not move

Forced the drawer open and removed it, 4 screws. Found bearings on on one side severely corroded and locked up. Only hard part was determining which side it was. Ordered the left, my left looking at the washer. Wrong!it was the washers right looking back at me. Read more...
