Freezes In the winter but not in summer..garage refrigerator now
For model number 79571039010
Hi Will, thank you for contacting us. We have found that there are evaporator coils and a circulating fan in the freezer zone of the refrigerator. Poor cooling can be a result of excessive frost development on the evaporating coils. Over time, frost accumulates over the coils and fan. When frost accumulates over the evaporator coils, they get insulated. Due to this, the circulating fan is unable to draw air over the frosted coils. We would recommend checking the frost buildup on the coils and ensuring proper ventilation of the refrigerator. If this is not the issue, you may need to check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS3523323, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Remove water filter and water filter holder. Removed cover on back of frig. Removed clip where water line connects to back of water filter. Took half inch wrench pushed in on water line lock to release line. Repeat at other end. Reverse steps to put on new line. Easy repair.
