Plastic fan broke when I attempted to clean it
The inside air blower for the LG mini-split collects lint and clogs up. Removing the broken blade requires removing the outer plastic housings, then screws at each end of the blower housing. end. There is a missing blade in the fan to allow access. This screw was lock-tighted in place and required significant force to loosen. The new fan took some wiggling to get it onto the shaft. Then replace the screws at each end of the fan housing, followed by the control unit screws, and the plastic outer covers. It was not an easy job. I used more care with a small bottle brush to clean the second fan unit and avoided breaking that fan.
