Hello Jeffrey, thank you for your inquiry. Most likely the problem is the High Limit Thermostat. This part cuts off power to the dryer motor if the temperature reaches an unsafe level. For your model DCVH640EJ0WW, the correct replacement part is PS267900. We hope this information helps!

I was fluffing pillows in the dryer. I noticed when I pulled the last load out, one was stuck against the back of the dryer wall. Then, no heat. I unplugged, ran the codes but I either cleared it by accident, or there were none. The t07 test got to 76 degrees.

Hello and thank you for writing.
It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty control thermostat PS1766014 and/or possibly a faulty high limit thermostat PS267900, you should check for signs of damage, and replace as necessary. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Dryer on Ultra Low Heat runs for a while but there is still is heat coming out, after 15 to 20 minutes it stops running and won’t start again until it cools down. Are there any tests that will isolate the sensors that might be bad
For model number DCVH640EJ0WW
Hello Jeff, thank you for contacting us. The issue could arise due to a faulty inlet control thermostat, part number PS1766014, or a faulty heating element, part number PS9494500. If these parts are okay, you may need to check the high-limit thermostat, part number PS267900, for continuity. You can check all these parts for continuity with a multimeter and replace them if they do not have continuity. We hope this solves your problem!

Due to over loading of the dryer the drum ruined the slides and was making a bad noise due to plastic rubbing plastic
It was pretty easy. After already taking apart the dryer to install a new belt I knew exactly my plan of action. I removed the two screws that hold the top panel of the dryer to the front panel. I then removed the top panel and removed the screws that hold the front to each side panel. I than pulled the front away from the cabinet and
