Hello Michael, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. When a freezer door has been left open, usually the evaporator coils will have excessive frost build up on them. Therefore, the fridge and freezer cannot be cool. The evaporator coils need to have the frost or ice build-up removed or defrosted for the fridge to work properly again. Defrost the freezer using a hair dryer by removing all the shelves and food items from the freezer. If your refrigerator and freezer are still not working after defrosting it, you may have a bad main board, part number PS12728924. Good luck with your repair!

The inside light is not on when door is open. What is the part number to replace the failed component (light bulb, LED,...)? Thanks
For model number FFFU13F2VW

Hello Mike, thank you for the great question. The part you are looking for is the LED board, part number PS12728953. We would recommend checking the rocker switch, part number PS16218458, before replacing the LED board. A faulty rocker switch can most probably cause this issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

We came home to find our Frigidaire upright Freezer had totally defrosted. Items still cold with a bit of frost still visible. Lights on - compressor is hot to the touch. I tried unplugging and rebooting. A little cool breeze comes out but definitely not freezer. My thoughts are the relay stopped working. Your suggestions would be appreciated…..thank you

Hello Carol, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the relay (which is only available as part of the compressor for this model) with a multimeter to see if is the cause. We also recommend checking the fan, sensor and potentiometer, which works with the thermostat/sensor to regulate the temperature inside the freezer. Good luck with your repair.
