Good Day Sahara. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number FFID2423RS3B). Based on our research, we found the following steps to help you clean out the filter on your unit. ***Ensure that before you begin you have unplugged the unit from the power source to avoid electrical shocks*** 1) Open your dishwasher door and pull out your bottom rack. 2) Remove the lower spray arm. 3) Lift up the tab that is securing the Drain Trap to the Base Filter and pull out the Drain Trap. 4) Turn the Support to the right and pull it out. 5) You will then be able to lift out the filter from your unit and take it to your sink to wash it and clean out the debris.
