I obtained a fridgedaire portable a/c unit from a rent house. The unit works, but does not have any of the parts (i.E. Hose, window partition etc) for complete hookup. Is there a kit that includes all that i would need to hook this unit up or do i have to buy all the parts individually and if that is the case what all do i need to buy?

Thank you for your question. There are 3 kits listed under your model number. The part number for the sealing kit is PS12585873. The part number for the slider kit is PS12585820. The part number for the hardware kit is PS12585872. If these kits do not contain all the parts that you need, you will need to purchase the others individually. We hope this helps! Is it difficult to fit the exhaust hose on to the window kit connector A to the exhaust hose connector B. When would I receive the exhaust hose?

This means we do not keep them in stock and order them in from Frigidaire once we have an order for one. As long as Frigidaire has stock ready to ship, this takes about 10-15 Business Days for the part to arrive at the Warehouse and approximately 3-7 business days to ship out and arrive to you. The hose on my portable air conditioner is too long for my setting. Is a shorter hose available? If not, is it okay to cut the existing hose down myself? What would be a recommended minimum length?

Hello Barbara, Thank you for your inquiry. There are two hoses listed for your model, the white vent exhaust hose-part# PS12585856, or the clear drain hose PS12585870. With the drain hose, there is no recommended minimum length and you can cut it to fit, and you can also shorten the exhaust hose as well-there is also no required minimum length. We hope this helps.
