Does this fridge make ice
For model number GNR22DSEBFBS
Hello Dwight, Thank you for the question. With a add on Ice Maker it can make ice. Sadly, the part you are requesting we do not have listed. We strongly recommend you contact the manufacturer, as they would have this information in their system. Ask them for the part number you require and contact back to see if it is something we carry. We hope this helps!

Frig is freezing. Left overnight unplugged, then cleaned dust etc off condenser coil which was already fairly clean. Removed digital control centre and see nothing amiss but not tested. Removed damper assembly (which I suspect might be the issue) How do I test or repair the damper assembly?
For model number GNR22DSEBFBS
Hello Neil, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the refrigerator control, this damper opens and shuts. You will need to test the control using an OHM meter as well as the damper motor. Prior to testing, the refrigerator should be unplugged. Your refrigerator control usually has two terminals. When the control signals the damper to open, the contact gets closed, leading to continuity across the terminals. In case you have just two terminals on the control, you can bypass the two wires and re-plug the refrigerator. The damper should close when you do this. If it does not, check for 120 volts, going to the damper motor. You will need to replace it. The compatible damper duct Assembly for your model is part number PS2340312. Glad to be of assistance!

Warm freezer and no ice
This story starts with a GE side-by-side refrigerator that has always had wide temperature swings and a temperamental water dispenser. The ice maker was not making ice, and the built in digital thermometer showed it was running warm. I suspected that the heat exchanger was full of dust and so looked there. What I found was that the con

denser tank was hot to the touch and the fan wasn’t running. As an experiment, I aimed a fan at the it for a while I saw that the freezer temperature dropped back to normal.
.The fan is marked as 11.2 DC so I checked for voltage at the fan and found some. With three wires and no wiring diagram I wasn’t sure this answered all the questions, but hooking the fan to a 12 volt power supply didn’t get it to spin.
I priced parts at a couple websites before using partselect.com . They also have a good diagram to look at (Sears diagrams are really poor). I ordered the part with 2-day shipping; it arrived on time, was correct and fixed the problem.
