Where are you supposed to put the fabric softener in?

Hi Trudy,
Thank you for your question. This washer does not appear to have a fabric softener dispenser. Wait until the the Rinse cycle status light is lit and the final rinse fill is complete before adding the recommended amount of liquid fabric softener directly to the rinse bath. When adding liquid fabric softener, pour into deeper areas of rinse water while avoiding direct contact with fabric. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. Washer will fill up but will only soak clothes. No agitation at all. Have to manually drain by selecting it to drain.

Hi Harold, thank you for reaching out. First, you may need to make sure that the lid is properly closed and does not open during operation. Also ensure that the washplate is not stuck. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the mode shifter, part number PS16554752, as it is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. Hi Harold, thank you for your question! The wash plate is located at the bottom of the spin basket. It turns back and forth to circulate laundry through the water during the wash cycle. Glad to be of assistance!

There was a necklace chain that got into my washer and it's now broken into pieces under the crease of the plastic agitator in the bottom. How can I lift the plastic to remove the remaining pieces of the necklace.

Hello Isaac, Thank you for the question. On the top center of the Washplate, there is a cap you can pop off to remove. You can use a flat head screw driver to do so. Once removed, you will see the bolt that holds the Washplate in place. After the bolt is removed, you can pull the Washplate up and off. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Thank you for your question. If your washer stops and starts during the wash cycle, you may have a malfunctioning lid switch. You will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter to verify if it is working. Before removing the switch and testing it with a multimeter, please unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. With your multimeter on the Rx1 setting, touch the probes to the terminals, then press and hold the switch button down. You should receive a reading of zero. If you do not receive this reading, you will need a replacement lid switch. The part number listed under your model number for the lid switch assembly is PS16554755. Drain all the water out of the tub with a shop vac Remove rear drain hose and drained rest of water into a bucket Remove small rear panel (bottom left hand corner) where the drain hose connects Tipped washer up about 45 degrees to get underneath it - Supported it with a few paint cans Remove internal drain hose/clamps

Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
