When turning on the oven, the red light comes on and the element starts to warm up then shuts off after about 20 seconds. Replaced oven control module with the same result. This issue happened after a very close lightening strike that also killed a tv and bathroom fan.
For model number IVE30100
Hello Tim, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Oven Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!
