I was microwaving an egg and it popped. After cleaning it out the microwave won't turn on. I changed the outlet it used and it was working until it actually started heating something up. Then it turned off and the new wall outlet isn't working.

The fan comes on and the fan runs without being used by someone. When we use it, we have to hit the cancel button and open the door, we can then shut the door and the fan will come back on, but we can put it on what we want it to cook on, and it will then work

Hello Dawn and thank you for writing.
You should try a hard reset first. Go to your breaker box, turn the breaker for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and turn the breaker back on. If this does not fix this problem then your door switch PS237015 & switch PS237409 might be faulty and possibly needs to be replaced. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

I have the 2018 model year. Was reheating some food and it just stopped working. I could smell a distinctive electrical like smell but the house breaker did not trip, the cord looks fine, the outlet is working fine. I think a fuse in the unit was blown but not sure how to locate where the fuses are located in the unit?
For model number JES1460DS3BB
Hello Joe, Thank you for the question. The fuse PartSelect Number PS1481237 is located at the top of the unit, behind the grill for the vent. We hope this helps.

Microwave completely stopped working
Turned out the issue was easily solved by replacing a single, inexpensive fuse.
First off, UNPLUG THE MICROWAVE.
The fuse is located under the plastic grill at the top of the microwave. It's held on by two screws. Once you've removed the screws and taken off the plastic grill, you go to the right side of the mic ... Read more rowave and remove another screw that holds a small metal grill in place. Removing the small metal grill is probably the toughest part of this repair. You kind of have to rock it back and forth a bit to get it to release. Once that's off, you can get to the fuse. I removed the burnt out one with a pair of needle nose pliers. I also put a small piece of cardboard under the fuse when I did this so I didn't accidentally drop it into the innards of the microwave. I did the same thing when I replaced the new fuse. I then plugged the appliance back in and made sure it worked. Once that was confirmed, I replaced both grills.

Microwave would turn on and count down, but not heating and not rotate turntable. Pressing door up would occasionally start heat.
First I disconnected the power and opened the door. Then I removed the top screws holding the top vent louvers, then removed the screw at the top of the touch pad. The touch pad removes by sliding up slightly then tilting top out. I unscrewed two screws holding the door latch assembly. Press the tab to remove and replace switch. Reco
