Good Morning, I have been trying to narrow down my freezer issue with my fridge. Here are the symptoms: Freezer will not freeze, ice maker will not make any ice, fridge runs non stop, fridge stays cold, but freezer will not freeze at all. Condenser fan works and runs, condenser pump runs and the condenser coils are clean. I have cycled through the control board testing for codes and get no codes. It acts like the fridge has gone into defrost mode and wont come out. I can cycle the evaporator fan motor on to circulate air to the freezer but it is just cold air not freezing air. I have looked for videos and info for this problem and nothing seems to be out there about this situation. Could these be any of the causes? Temperature control, Thermistor, Defrost Sensor/control board? Is there suggestions you could help with for testing or parts from your site. I can not get a repair person her for over a month and have decide to tackle this myself. I have good mechanical knowledge, just never worked on appliances before. Thank you. John

Hello John, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Thermistor. The thermistor resistance would be 10K at 77 degrees, 29.5K at 36 Degrees and 86.3K at 0 Degrees. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We hope this helps!

My refrigerator lights are dim. Last time this happened, they pretty quickly went completely out.called a repair guy, and he replaced a freezer bulb to fix it. Can I just get a bulb and do it myself? If so cost /part number for the freezer bulb
For model number KFIS29BBMS02
Hello Brad, thank you for reaching out. You may need to replace the LED light module, part number PS11702378. Before replacing it, turn off the power to the appliance. Afterward, you will just need to depress the tab on the housing to release the light and housing and unplug the wire harness to remove it. We hope this helps!

How do I access the drip trays underneath? Next to condenser? I can't reach in very far but there appears to be green gunk in the tray.
For model number KFIS29BBMS02
Hi Barb, thank you for the question. With the refrigerator section cleared out, the appliance can be tilted forward just enough to remove the base pan screws, allowing the pan and the tray to move down. This will allow for the easiest replacement of the evaporating tray. We hope this helps.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Ice dispenser motor burnt out, water got inside.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy.

called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.

while closing the door, the light switch fouled, resulting in the switch breaking
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
