The machine goes through the cycle, rinses, spins and the clothes are still very wet. And I get a brief OL code. So I ordered a drum balance sensor, so the motor doesn’t slow down when it spins out. And new balancing Rods to stabilize the load. Is this right?
For model number MVWB980BW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Mark, thank you for your inquiry. The OL error code indicates that the washer is overloaded. We would recommend making sure that the load is distributed evenly. If the problem persists, then replacing the parts that you have ordered will most probably solve the problem. We hope this helps.

The washer was making a horrible noise during the spin cycle
Removed a cap in the center of the tub basket which has a bolt that needs removed I believe it's a 9/16 after I removed the bolt I then removed the center of the bottom of the basket assembly which then allowed me to get to the basket hub that needed replaced it was a little dirty and I couldn't get it out so I sprayed a little penitrating oil on it let it sit a little then I was able to remove the hub and install the new one then I put it all back together and the washer is working great

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
