The only oven control functions that still work are broil, light, and timer. The oven doesn't ignite for any of the other functions.I hear the touch panel beep, and see the display the settings i input, but the oven doesn't ignite.

It took 65 minutes to heat the oven to 425f

Hello Tom and thanks for writing.
The likely issue is a weak or failing oven igniter. Heat resistance igniters # PS4241428 can lose resistance as they get hot over time and won't send enough resistance to the gas valve to allow the main valve to come on. ... Most gas ovens should heat to 350-degrees in about 7-to-8 minutes. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

The electrical doesn’t come on is there a reset switch on this model? The gas burners still work

Hi Jeffrey, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our research, there is no reset switch listed for your model. You can manually do so by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back on. Open the oven door, remove the grates. unscrew the bottom cover and expose the heat shield. Unscrew the heat shield. This exposes the burner. Unscrew the burner from the c
... Read moreenter of the plate/lower heat shield. Unscrew the burner from the front and back of the oven. Carefully lift up the burner to expose the igniter and clip. Unscrew the igniter from the burner and set the burner aside. Unclip the igniter from the power cable. If it falls below, it won't go far just reach in a lift it back up to fasten the new igniter to the power clip. Refasten to the burner with new clips and screws provided. Re-insert the burner to the gas jet that is below the bottom plate which will not be visible to you unless you place your head towards the rear of the stove and look down. Once the Jet is back into the hole of the burner, re fasten it to the middle back and front of the stove. Replace the covers and grates. Close the oven and test it. A new igniter does wonders. You can remove the stove door for a less intrusive install, but I found it unnecessary to do so and saved a step and time. I was done well under 30 minutes.

... Read morer was to help my neighbor who lives on a fixed income. Checked oven temp with the oven at 350 f setting, oven was 223 f. Set oven to 465 f and fount the oven at 353 f. I wanted to return the part but she insisted I install it anyway and found the oven doing the same thing. She did not want to throw more money at a 4 year old range. Will use it as it is but will buy a cheap oven temp gauge. Samsung sucks.
