HOW TO REPLACE BURNER MANIFOLD
For model number NX58F5700WS
Hi Phillip,
Thank you for your question. Here are some general instructions on how to install a manifold on a gas range. Before you replace the manifold assembly in your gas range, unplug the range from the electrical outlet and turn the gas supply off. Then open the oven door and use a screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the control panel’s lower cover and remove it. Then remove the control knobs and unthread the screws securing the control panel to the frame. Detach the control panel from the oven. Then unthread the nuts to release the gas supply tubes from the burner valves. Then unthread the nut securing the main gas supply line to the manifold. Then unthread the 2 screws securing the manifold to the front brackets. Disconnect the spark switch wire harness connector and you can fully remove the old manifold assembly. Then prepare the new manifold assembly by transferring parts from the old manifold assembly to the new one. Reconnect the spark switch wire harness connector and position the manifold on the front brackets, so the valves align with the gas supply tubes. Secure the manifold with the mounting screws and connect the main gas supply line to the manifold and thread the nut to secure. Be careful not to damage the line by overtightening the nut. Connect the rest of the gas supply tubes to the appropriate valves and avoid over tightening the nuts. Realign the control panel on the mounting brackets and secure it with the screws. Then replace the lower cover and secure it with the screws. Then reattach the knobs on the burner valve shafts, plug the power cord back in and turn the gas back on. We hope this helps!

Oven not heating and holding temp
The Samsung stove I have has had the igniter replaced several times. It seems to wear out over a couple years time. I did the repair with a Philips #2 screw driver. Open the oven door, remove the grates. unscrew the bottom cover and expose the heat shield. Unscrew the heat shield. This exposes the burner. Unscrew the burner from the c

enter of the plate/lower heat shield. Unscrew the burner from the front and back of the oven. Carefully lift up the burner to expose the igniter and clip. Unscrew the igniter from the burner and set the burner aside. Unclip the igniter from the power cable. If it falls below, it won't go far just reach in a lift it back up to fasten the new igniter to the power clip. Refasten to the burner with new clips and screws provided. Re-insert the burner to the gas jet that is below the bottom plate which will not be visible to you unless you place your head towards the rear of the stove and look down. Once the Jet is back into the hole of the burner, re fasten it to the middle back and front of the stove. Replace the covers and grates. Close the oven and test it. A new igniter does wonders. You can remove the stove door for a less intrusive install, but I found it unnecessary to do so and saved a step and time. I was done well under 30 minutes.

Oven would not heat consistently
My barely 4 year old Samsung range/oven began not heating consistently. Even though it said 350, for example, we had to increase to 465 to get it to bake. Thought it was the temperature sensor. Ordered and installed new one easily. That didn't solve the problem. So, rather than throw more money at parts that may not have resolved the

oven will not come to desired temp setting
ordered the temp sensor for a standard complaint, new sensor was the correct part ordered, however, once the old sensor was removed, I ohm'd the original and the new part. Both were 1080, checked wiring, checked gas burner, checked line voltage. Searched other part prices, found Samsung to be a not desirable product to own. This non repai

r was to help my neighbor who lives on a fixed income. Checked oven temp with the oven at 350 f setting, oven was 223 f. Set oven to 465 f and fount the oven at 353 f. I wanted to return the part but she insisted I install it anyway and found the oven doing the same thing. She did not want to throw more money at a 4 year old range. Will use it as it is but will buy a cheap oven temp gauge. Samsung sucks.
