how do I change the water filter on this model?

For model number WRS311SDHM00
Hello Nancy, thank you for getting in touch. Use the following instructions to replace the filter:
1. Locate the water filter in the base grille and pull open the filter door.
2. The filter will be released as the door opens. Pull the filter out.
3. Take the new filter out of the packaging and remove the cover from the o-ring. Be sure the o rings are still in place after the cover is removed.
4. With the arrow pointing to the left, align the new filter with the filter housing and slide it into place. The filter cover door will automatically begin to close as the new filter is inserted.
5. Close the filter cover door completely in order to snap the filter into place. You may need to press hard.
6. Flush the water system.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Wanted to install ice maker in my freezer
I was clening my uprght freezer and noticed that it was preped for an icemaker. I first went to the Whilpool website and could not find my part as my freezer was a 2008 model.
I saw PartSelect on the search page and went to thier site.
I put in my modle number of the Whilpool Ice maker kit that was on the back of my freeze ... Read more r. PartSelect had the part in stock and approx $18.00 less than the other kits listed on the Whilpool site (that did not match my kit number). I orderd the kit on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. It took less than and hour to install. Every part I needed was included. The following day I installed the water line and now I have an extra icemaker.
