Hello,
The freezer compartment of my fridge stopped working, but the fridge is still cold. I also feel that I remember the fridge going through louder and quieter cycles, now there is just a constant quieter sound. The compressor is pretty warm, but I'm not sure what is the normal temperature. Sometimes the fridge from somewhere close to the lightbulb makes regular "click" sound as if something is about to start, but it just keeps clicking and eventually stops. What could be the problem? Thanks

Hello Tristan, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest replacing the temperature control thermostat, part number PS11755844, to fix the issue. This thermally operated switch controls the compressor circuit and therefore the temperature of the fresh food compartment. A faulty thermostat also causes the compressor to become hot. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Freezer is still working. Freezing foods. No problem. But the fridge is not getting lower then 50°? What do i do?

Hello Cecil, Thank you for the question. This Temperature Control Thermostat detects the internal temperatures of the appliance and controls the compressor circuit and temperature inside the Fridge. If the temperatures are off then the Temperature Control Thermostat may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Removed the fan blade from fan motor,which was press fitted on,then removed fan motor from bracket assembly(make sure and retain the two vibration rubber washers on back and front of motor. Reinstall new motor with vibration washers and press fan blade on new motor. Install in bracket assemble and reassemnble.
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
