This authentic blue OEM motor shield in your paint sprayer protects the motor from dust, dirt, water, and debris. It ensures optimal motor temperature by aiding in heat dissipation. The shield is located on the top or side of the sprayer. A broken shield may have cracks, breaks, or missing sections, and may wobble when touched. Not replacing the shield can result in motor damage, overheating, and an increased risk of electrical shock. When removing your existing shield, remove its fasteners with a screwdriver or a pair of pliers. Detach the shield from your machine by wiggling it to release it. The motor shield and the motor itself are sold separately.
