Very easy to change part out.
The jury is still if I actually received the correct part. The original part allowed for four settings where the new appears to be only two. I did research to verify if the part is correct and all part numbers cross referenced to the replacement part as being correct.

Washer fills, washes and empties water, but does not spin clothes! Is the pressure switch the problem? i've checked the tube that connects to switch and it is clear when blowing in it! i hear the clicking noise when blowing in tube.
For model number WCSR4170G5CC
Hi Edward, thank you for your question. It would not be your pressure switch that is the problem. The parts that you would need to look at would be your lid switch and the the drive belt. You will want to look at the drive belt for any where and tear. If your lid switch is malfunctioning your appliance will not spin because it thinks that the lid is open. If those parts are both fine then the probably actually might be in your motor. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Washing machine knob will not click on and off, it just spins and does not engage. Is the pressure switch the issue?
For model number GTWP1800D0WW
Hi Camilla, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you make sure that the knob is not broken or damaged. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the pressure switch, part number PS1018030. If it is faulty, you may need to replace it. We hope this sorts out your problem!

The load size is set to small and when I blow into the pressure tube the pressure switch functions. But washer still over fills with water. Do I need to change the load size part or the pressure switch (if not the same thing)?
For model number WLSR2200J5WW
Hello Jean, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding of the issue, the pressure switch is faulty. It senses the water level in the tub. When the water reaches the desired level, this switch stops the water from flowing in the tub, and then the washing program begins. If the pressure switch is faulty, it will not stop the water from filling. We recommend you replace the pressure switch, part number PS1018030. We hope this information is useful!
