OVEN CLEAN WON'T START. SAYS TO REMOVE SHELVES. cOULD THIS BE THE DOOR SWITCH
For model number EW30EF65GSM
Hello Herb, thank you for contacting us. Provided that the racks are removed and it is still stating to remove shelves, the issue is most probably related to the control boards, part number PS2368737, part number PS2332413, and part number PS1991871. We would recommend checking these parts with a multimeter to pinpoint the faulty one. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
Can I remove this switch without damaging the arms on the side? I need to check continuity to see if I have to replace the switch or the control board.
For model number FGGF3058RFD
Hi Anthony,
Thank you for your question. The light switch is located behind the front panel and to access it, you will need to remove the grates, burner heads, and burner caps, so you can raise the cooktop. Before doing this repair, please unplug the range from the electrical outlet. We hope this helps!

My oven thinks the door is open at all times so the light never turns off and says "door open" when oven is on. Is this a known issue of this part?
For model number 79094199310
Hi Wiley, thank you for reaching out. The issue you're experiencing with your oven, where it thinks the door is open at all times and the light never turns off, could be related to the oven door light switch. The part number for the door light switch is PS1146807. If the switch is faulty or not functioning correctly, it may cause the oven to think the door is open, leading to the light staying on and the "door open" message appearing. Replacing the oven door light switch may resolve this issue. We hope this information is useful!
