I needed to replace ice bucket auger. Would have cost $99 plus cost of labor & cost of auger from GE service. It was much less expensive to buy the complete new ice bucket assembly . Ice could not come out the door
Took the original ice bucket out and popped the new ice bucket in. Was not sure if the only problem was the augar. This was the simplest way to go.

Broken Blade on Auger
First we watched the repair videos - just replacing the auger - then the video replacing the bucket & auger. We made our decision on that information. With the bucket & auger all you have to do is pull the old one out and put the new one in and you're back in business! Just a note to say it arrived earlier than promised!

Will this assembly work to dispense and crush ice in my Whirlpool fridge?

Thanks for your question. The ice bucket for your model is part number PS11739219 and the auger for your model is part number PS3500972. They are used to dispense and crush the ice. They do not come as an assembly for your model.

Thanks for your question. This type of situation usually arises from a broken crusher cover (part number PS964165) or the auger (part number PS964350). The bucket itself on its own is part number PS300044. If you prefer the entire thing pre-assembled, try part number PS11701246.

How do i install the ice level adjustment arm
