Igniter Glowbar
First of all my range is only 4 years old. Would expect better performance out of the high end range we purchased. We received the part and it was broken. It is a fragile part and was poorly packed. Needed it for Easter and had to reorder. Not a good experience!

Totally disgusted.
This was our 4th attempt to get a part that was not broken. The first three were poorly packed and even after a phone call to this company they shipped 2 more that were not packed and were broken when we received them. Finally after 3 phone calls they did get us the part in good condition. We installed it and within a few minutes of turning the oven on we heard a strange noise and again the oven is not heating. I would not recommend GE appliances to anyone nor would I recommend this company for parts. All of our GE appliances have failed within the first 4 years in our new home. They are the GE Cafe' line and I am extremely disappointed in their performance!

Broken
The part arrived broken. Called and was promptly issued a refund. The item item was just placed in a bubble bag. Not shipped in the factory packaging.

Both the oven bake and the broiler will not turn on on the top oven. Would i need to order the glowbar igniter or the oven burner igniter? I had a technician in and he said i needed two igniter "switches" but he wrote down two glowbar igniters. Now i'm confused. What would you recommend?
For model number PGB995SET2SS
Hello Debbie, thank you for your question. Sometimes the terminology can be different between companies or repair places. The two parts he is recommending are the igniters (glow bars) PartSelect Number: PS11725183 and PartSelect Number: PS11725184. I hope this helps!

Lower oven won’t ignite, turns on and stays at 100, won’t heat up. I’ve replaced this part before.
Will the PS11725183 fit the lower oven in the above model
For model number PCGB995SET2SS
Hello Bill, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is likely with the oven burner igniter, part number PS4704151. It is designed to ignite the fuel from the fuel lines and light the burner. If your burner will not ignite, it is a good indication that the burner igniter is burned out or damaged. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Upper oven sits on 100f and does not ignite, broiler on upper oven works fine. Which part would I need? I would assume an ignitor. Thank you for the help
For model number PGS950SEF4SS
Hi Ian, Thank you for the question. The first part to check or replace would be the igniter, PartSelect Number: PS4704151/ You can test the igniter with a Ohm meter. Hope this helps!

I have the upper oven that does not go over 100f, however the broiler does light and work fine, i was told it is the igniter but i am not sure since the broiler does light... thanks for the help
For model number PGS950SEF4SS
Hi Ian,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multimeter. When testing the sensor with a multimeter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Lower oven will not lite. Which igniter would I need to replace please?
For model number CGS990SET5SS
Hello Mary, thank you for your question. There has been several cases of the lower oven not lighting. It could be that a hole melted in the Deflector #224 part PS11700866 is breaking the igniters. The Lower Igniter is PS11725184. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
Both the upper oven and lower oven don’t work. I know the part number for the glow bar on the lower oven (WB13X25262) and I know how to replace it. I am not sure what Is happening with the upper oven. Can you help me troubleshoot it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
For model number CGS990SET5SS
Hello John, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Igniter. On a good igniter, there should be between 40 & 400 OHMS. A bad igniter will show no resistance or continuity. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Bake and broiler do not heat, the broiler igniter does glow but the bake igniter does not.
For model number CGS985SET6SS
Hi Steven, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is most likely with the following parts: valve, part number PS7320230, bake igniter, part number PS231280, and broil igniter, part number PS11725182. We hope this sorts out your problem!
My upper oven lights and heats, just not to the correct temp. It's usually around 30 degrees lower than what the display shows. I adjusted the setting in the control panel to heat 30 degrees higher, which gets it closer. But then after a while, the temp in the oven drops once again. What could be the problem here?
For model number PGS950SEF5SS
Hi Stephen, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the temperature sensor, part number PS236490, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
