PartSelect order process was easy, and they packed the parts well and shipped quickly -- no muss, no fuss. Genuine GE parts in original package (YMMV). The GE installation kit itself is adequate but IMHO if you place the hold-down thumbscrew too far away from the cooktop, there's a lot of leverage putting stress on the sheet metal screw that bolts the assembly to the underside of the cooktop. I didn't like that potential situation so simply chose to: (A) slide the assembly so the thumbscrew was relatively closer to the cooktop but still not too near the edge of the countertop cutout, and (B) not over tighten the thumbscrew. With the foam tape (comes with the cooktop) around the perimeter, the cooktop isn't going anywhere. Perfectly satisfied.

I just spent $18,000 on a monogram appliance suite and you want another $14 for the installation bracket for my induction cooktop? Are you kidding me? I need this alternate installation kit to properly install my cooktop. It should be included. Please get back to me asap!I am an unhappy customer after this revelation that you want to nickel and dime me after spending so much money with you...
