Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a dual ceramic surface burner for ranges. This burner, also known as a heating element, is used within electric ranges to act as a stovetop burner. This burner measures approximately 10 inches in diameter and features a larger and smaller heating element that you can activate with the control board of your stovetop. If your stovetop burner is currently not heating correctly or consistently, then it will need to be replaced immediately. This burner features a ceramic construction with metal parts like the terminals that connect directly to your range. This burner is an OEM part and is sold individually, so depending on how many of this burner your range uses, you may need to consider that before ordering.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Range top eye replacement
The part arrived quickly and I was able to replace the range top eye without any difficulty. The part was identical the the original part, which
helped the replacement that much easier.

Perfect Part
My 'Hot Surface' light stayed on continually and one double burner would turn on then shut itself off after several seconds. PartSelect helped me determine that the element radiant was the problem and the instructions to replace it were incredibly easy. Took about 20 minutes.

On the subject of the 9" dual burner; when I turn it on, from warm to full I get only full throttle the whole time. Is it the control switch or the burner?
For model number JBS60DK1WW
Hi Anna, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the infinite control switch, part number PS11729102. It turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
How do i replace the 9 inch dual element radiant on this slide in model stove
For model number js645sl1ss
Hello Doug, Thank you for your inquiry. Remove the screws that secure the main top with a nut driver. Lift up the main top and use a brace to support it. Unclip the old element with a pair of needle nose pliers by pulling backwards on the clips. Gently pull the old element out, and disconnect the wires, making note of the placement of the wires. Connect the new element, and reattach the side clips. Remove the support for the main top and lower the surface back onto the frame of the range. Then go ahead and reattach the screws for the main top. Hope this helps.

The left front inner burner is not heating , the outer is. I realize that it is one dual unit.
But in my research a control switch was mentioned as needing to be replaced????
For model number JB645RK3SS
Hello Colleen, thank you for writing. The Dual Element is PartSelect Number PS11729126. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch PartSelect Number PS11729102 . When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
My front right stove isn't working. Looking at the parts list, I am not sure which to order, or what the difference is between these two items:
ELEMENT RADIANT 9 Inch DUAL
&
ELEMENT HALIANT (DUAL)
Please advise. Thank you.
For model number PP9030SJ2SS
Hello Andy, thank you for getting in touch. The front right stove that you are looking for is part number PS11762586. We hope this information helps!
What would be the cause of the 9” dual burner on our cooktop to stop heating a few minutes after turning it on. ( burner glows red for a few seconds then goes black again)
For model number JB735SP1SS
Hello Joseph, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend replacing the 9 inches dual radiant element, part number PS11729126, to fix the issue. i replaced the warning indicator light on the stove top for the burners .when i put the new ones it still stays on . Can you tell me what it could be?
For model number jb645dk4bb
Hello Richard, thank you for your question. If after replacing the Pilot Indicator Light switch PS8767096, the red light remains on, the problem is a short circuit in the Element Control Switch PS11729102. We hope this helps.
