Dryer does not turn off unless you open the dryer door. Temperature is fine and it does dry the clothes. If i set my microwave timer for the correct amount of time then open the door the clothes are dry.
For model number RED4516FW0
Hi Jo Ann,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer is not shutting off, There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door switch, the timer, the internal bias thermostat and the high limit thermostat. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dryer sometimes will heat but mostly not. It seems to heat in the automatic mode more than the timed mode. I replace the thermostat and still same problem. Does this sound like a timer problem?
For model number RED4640YQ0
Hi Mike, thank you for your inquiry. The most probable cause of the issue appears to be a faulty timer, part number PS11731366. Good luck with the repair!

For model number NED4655EW1
Hello Tyler, thank you for contacting us. Yes, the timer, part number PS11731366, might be defective. However, this is very rarely the case. Before replacing the timer, check all the more commonly defective parts. If you determine that all the other components are working properly, test the timer by using a multimeter and consulting the wiring diagram. If the timer is defective, replace it. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
