Burners have a hard time igniting. Oven works normally. Replaced the range oven burner spark module about 7 months ago. Curious if the control panel has connection with all the burners.
For model number WEG730H0DS0
Hi Ilias,
Thank you for your question. If the surface burners are not igniting, there are a couple of things that you will need to check. First check and see if the burner caps are aligned correctly. If they are not aligned correctly, you will need to re-position them. If you have recently cleaned the cooktop or if there has been excess moisture caused from either cooking or spills, remove the burner caps, and allow the burners to dry out before using them again. If there is food debris in the burners, they will need to be cleaned, so they can work properly. If you have done all this and the burners will not light, you may need to replace either the spark ignition switch or the igniter. We hope this helps!

When powered-up, from off-cold, my stove displays its model number and some codes and the time 12:00, then after some use, or one or two hours time, the display and control panel die. The burner ignition for stove top still work, indicating power to the cook-top system is good. When stripped, the panel W10860916 shows signs of overheating around the four resistors bridging the gap near the cut-off corner, and the top one (R1 on your photo) is particularly hot to the touch. All other boards and cables look fine, we know mice have explored the inside of the stove but there's no signs of chew damage. After disconnecting power and letting it all cool off, it works again for a while. Do you have any guesses whether this apparent overheating resistor is a symptom, or cause of the display/panel cutting out. Happy to order a new panel but your responses to other people have been very insightful.
For model number KSGG700ESS0
Hi Peter, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, as all the other parts are fine, and the spark module, part number PS11731566, shows a sign of overheating, we would recommend replacing it first. We hope this sorts out your problem!

The bake and or broil option do not work on my Whirlpool gas range
The Ignitors do not seem to come on for either
Weird why both do not work
The selection screen seems to work fine just no action from there
Will the the spark module board solve cure my issue?
Thanks
For model number WEG745H0FS0
Hi Darren, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the issue is probably with the switch membrane, part number PS10060049. We would recommend replacing the switch membrane to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
