Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The articulating mullion assembly, also known as the flipper, is an essential component designed for French-door refrigerators. This genuine replacement part creates an airtight seal between the left and right doors, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and preventing food spoilage. Located on the left door, the mullion flips open and closed to align the door securely with the right door. If your refrigerator door isn’t closing properly or sealing as it should, replacing the articulating mullion may resolve the issue. A damaged or broken mullion can lead to energy loss and inefficient cooling, impacting the performance of your refrigerator.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Very easy repair.
I watched a video on the replacement part that stated 15 minutes to replace. Actually took less than 10 minutes.

Articulating Mullion not fitting in slot, have to pull it out by hand
For model number GNE25JMKESBFEA
Hi Wayne, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the spring of this mullion assembly is causing the issue. Unfortunately, the spring does not come separately; you need to replace the entire mullion assembly, part number PS11736996, to fix the issue. We hope this helps! If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.

My spring for the Articulating Mullion broke causing me to manually tuck the assembly in to shut the door properly. I am ordering a new mullion as I noted that previous post state that just the spring is not available. Is the mullion held in position by the two screws on the middle hinge Thanks in advance for your help.
For model number GNE27JMMAFES
Hi Todd, thank you for reaching out. The articulating mullion assembly is held in position by the fastener handle assembly, part number PS16619453. To install this assembly, you need to use 2 fasteners. We hope this helps!
There's a small screw that is on the left hand door of my refrigerator. I think the screw goes on part# WR17X25027. The screw is broken and I need a replacement. I can put it on myself but can't find it to order it. I can't enlarge the diagram enough to be able to read it. The door is not shutting properly because the spring being broken means that part doesn't open and close the way it should. I'm hoping you can help me.

I have been having issues with the mullion heater collecting a lot of moister. So much so that it drips onto the freezer door. I replaced the mullion but the issue still persists. Does this mean there is an issue with the control board or maybe a humidity sensor? I am just unsure what controls this heater on this model.
