Does the tie wire help stabilize the drum or is the suspension system just wore out? I've tried to balance with clothes and it still tries to whoop the sides out the box

Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. If the washer shakes and moves the suspension rods are likely damaged or worn and will need to be replaced. You should also check and see if the washer is level as this may cause the washer to shake and move also. If it is not level, you will need to adjust the leveling legs. We hope this helps!
