How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

Quick and easy
The timer was replaced easily and my washing machine works again. The hardest part was finding the screws on top of the stackable unit to open the control panel. Once found it was simply an unplug the old and plug in the new. Oh do remember to turn off the circuit board for your washer before installing.

Correct Part - small decrepancy
Part did not have holes tapped for screws. I had to buy a 6-32 tap set to tap out for holding screws.

The washer does it's cycle thru the rinse but it does not drain or spin. I have already checked the coupler, made sure the pump is moving freely and the lid switch is working. But when it goes to spin mode all I hear is a buzzing at the motor and clicking at the timer.
Hello James, thank you for the question. In most cases this indicates the timer is not advancing to the next cycle and the Timer will need to be replaced, PartSelect Number PS11742012. Hope this helps!

When timer is set for a wash cycle,
Water comes on for a couple of second's then just stops
For model number LTE6234DQ3
Hello and thank you for writing.
Some of the newer units work on a 30 seconds delay, meaning you would set the timer it would start filling then stop for 30 seconds and then actually starts filling and washing. If this is not the case then indeed your timer or water inlet siphon PS11741230 might be faulty. You should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter, and replace the part(s) as needed. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
Re: Washer timer 3948357. I see by the note that the part has "been replaced by manufacturer". Is it a like for like replacement? I have uninstalled the original faulty piece and i'd like to order the replacement. Can i use the replaced version and the two connectors will plug in? Are the settings the same as the original, wash/rinse cycles, will they align with the markings of the washer? Thanks, hedel

Would the timer stop the spin cycle form spinning? It fills with water and the knob does move in the spin cycle is does drain water it just doesn't spin in that part.
Hi Margaret,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are a few parts on your washer that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the direct drive motor coupling, the door lock, the lid switch, the clutch assembly and the drive belt. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
