Took the cup for the clothes softner out, just pulls out, took plastic seal out, just pulls out, took the socket set, with an exstention, unscrewed the bolt & pulled out the agitator. easy. Reverse the process in putting the agitator back. P.S. Right hand thread.

Why are there gaps between the fins of the lower agitator and its base, clothes are getting stuck in it and wrapping around the entire unit
For model number Wtw4800xq1
Hello and thank you for writing.
There should not be any big gaps. The agitator PS11742045 is either damaged and needs to be replaced or it came loose. If it has lost you might have to replace the screw PS10067065 and washer PS11742027. Here is the link to the help video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGIheDdrdAw&feature=emb_title
We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
I had written to you about the upper and the lower agitators being very difficult to separate from each other. I have now included the model number of our washer as you requested. We hope that you can help us because we cannot replace the agitator dogs until I can get these parts separated. We are looking forward to hearing from you because the pile of washing is getting bigger and bigger. Thanks again.

For model number WTW4616FW2
Hello Jed, thank you for inquiring. You will want to replace the Agitator (Complete), part number PS11742049 to prevent this from happening. You may also want to consider the Drive Belt, part number PS11747978 for your model as the cause. Good luck with your repair!

Good evening . The bottom part of the agitator is ridged and doesnt move at all . So my washer is neither washing or emptying can you please tell me the parts i need to repair it.Also the top half just turns one way.
Thank you so much Elizabeth
For model number 3LWTW4800YQ1
Hello Elizabeth, thank you for contacting us. The most probable solution is replacing the agitator cam kit, part number PS334648. This kit rotates the agitator. If this does not help, the following parts are the likely culprits: the spacer, part number PS11742044, the bottom agitator, part number PS11742045, and the drive block, part number PS11741977. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
Will it hurt my washer to use it if one of the fins on the lower agitater broke off?
For model number LSQ9110PW4
Hi Michael, Thank you for the question. It can put stress on the other fins and cause them to break as well as the cogs. Also the clothes will not agitate properly and may not come clean. Hope this helps!

I have 2 broken fins. Is this what is keeping my machine from spinning properly? I have to take the clothes out and arrange them very carefully to get them to spin out.
For model number LSN2000PW4
Hello Lois, thank you for your question. Yes, that could be what the issue is. We would also advise checking the Clutch Assembly Part Number: 285785 and Direct Drive Motor Coupling Part Number: 285753A if the issues persists after replacing the agitator bottom. I hope this helps.
