The Ice and Water Dispenser Would Run on After the Glass Was Removed
I am going to be completely honest here. This problem had persisted for months. I finally decided that I would buy all the associated parts and repair the unit hoping to cover the problem. Much to my surprise, after carrying out the repair, using the instructions provided by PartSelect, I still had the problem. I decided to remove and

The frig is nine years old, so I feel I may have prevented other problems in the future by replacing the three parts. It was a follow the directions sort of repair. I was very pleased with PartSelect response to my order (received it next day) with standard shipping.

icemaker would not energize water solenoids, after it was replaced. icemaker had hung keeping water on. micro switch in fountain door had shorted out. I thought this may have ruined the control board.
after replacing control board, the water for ice maker still did not work. Took solenoid asy. out and the two cils for ice maker side were open. could not move wires to fountain solenoids because the fountain outlet to front was 3/8 inch and every thing else was 1/4 inch, so i had to order the solenoid assy. which is for coils. They

Light wouln't go out in ice dispencer section
Extremely easy as I had alread taken the unit apart before except for the removal of the multipin connector from old board. Necessary to break the old board connector in order to get it off.

Ice maker not making ice. I replaced the ice maker and dual water inlet valve. I also replace the water filter. The water dispenser will intermittently not shut off when dispensing water. A Jenn Air technician manually caused the ice maker to to cycle. Some water was brought to the tray but has not produced any ice in 24 hours. The thermostat is at the 3/4 mark toward the Max side. The icemaker is not getting water to flow. I have not had good ice for about six months before the unit failed and I replaced the parts. What am I missing?

Hello Gregory, Thank you for the question. if both Valves were tested or replaced, we suggest checking the Water tubing for a clog or build up preventing enough water to flow through to the Ice Maker. You can also test the Cycling thermostat for continuity. We hope this helps!
Ice dispenser will not change from crushed ice to cubed. water works fine and crushed ice works fine.
