Low stream and knocking when filling water
Removed the fridge waterline from the main line using the adjustable wrench, pulled the waterlines from their brackets and removed the water filter cover. Once that was done just pulled out the old filter head and waterlines and reinstalled. Hardest part was putting the filter cover back on. Needed smaller hands.
Followed the first set of instructions from the parts select website. It worked perfectly. Just note that the way to remove the "blue" tube is by pushing down on the fitting and then pull the tube out. Be careful with the styrofoam piece around the hole for the tubes as it can crumble around the edges.

The water filter inlet tube cracked
Begin by turning off the water source from the wall, next using a line wrench, remove the brass water line fitting nut from the copper water line from the wall. Next remove the second water line from the plastic push fitting by depressing the fitting to release the water line. Remove the Styrofoam insulation piece that resides between the

In door water dispenser will not work with filter installed. Changed out unit pump. Water will dispense with bypass cap installed.
For model number MFC2061HEW
Hello Doug, thank you for your question. There are a few things you can check to try and fix the issue. If you still have the original filter, you can reinstall it to see if the water flows. If it does, the issue could be with the new filter itself; is it an OEM filter, the right filter for the model? Double check to be sure the filter is made for your unit and is an OEM part. Was the filter soaked in water before installation? Sometimes if you don't wet the filter first, once they are installed the water pressure has a hard time soaking the inside of the filter. Soak the filter in water and reinstall to see if that will fix your problem. Also, you may have air trapped in the lines. The air creates a gap or pressure issue and the water does not flow out of the dispenser. You might get a slight trickle or nothing at all from the dispenser. Install the bypass plug and run water for 3-4 minutes to clear any air or pressure issues in the water lines. I hope this information helps!

The water dispenser is leaking you push the button and it doesn't shut off completely ,, is there a solenoid that turns it on and off or is part number wp67004106 the correct unit for our refrig, it was bought in 2006-7 time frame.
For model number JFC2089HES
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the water dispenser is leaking, you will need to check the water filter head, the dual water inlet valve, the water filter and the limit switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

What is on the end of the red capped water line? My existing part has what appears to be a factory installed metal male threaded fitting that would not fit through the existing foam seal into the fridge.
For model number psd262lhew
Hello Paul, Thank you for the question. The red cap is just there for protect the end. You will need to remove it before the head is installed into the appliance. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
