Fabric softener dispenser had broken pc and would come off during wash cycle
Part came today and all I had to do was fit the new fabric dispenser in the correct slots and viola! It works beautifully!

Somehow or another, the plastic cup inside vanished.
This was a really easy replacement job. All I had to do was twist the old Fabric Softener Dispenser to the left to unlock it, pull it off, and put the replacement on.

Fabric Softener dispenser was broken
Replacing the fabric softener dispenser was very easy. It just snaps on. Make sure you line up the tabs with the holes in the agitator, otherwise it will not stay on and will fly off and break in the spin-cycle. This is how the first one broke to begin with.

We bought our Kenmore washer in 2007. On our fabric dispenser the clip on one side is broken and won't stay on the top of the agitator. Can you help???

Have a Whirlpool high efficiency washer with no softener dispenser, will you be able to use the one that is 6" high and 4" round? Or do a I need a different kit.

Hello David, Thank you for the question. This Fabric Softener Dispenser is for appliances that have agitators. The model number provided has a Washplate and they do not have a Dispenser option sorry. My washer overflowed yesterday. When I drained the tub, reset the ‘load size’ and tried again, watching it this time it nearly overflowed again. I tested the inlet valve by unplugging the machine while it was filling and it stopped. What’s wrong?

Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Water Level Switch and the Water Pressure Hose. Make sure there is no build up in the hose preventing the water from passing through to trigger the Switch to stop the water from filling. You can remove the switch and check for a build up in the hose port. You can blow into the port and listen for a "click" if the switch is good. We hope this helps!

Hi Randy,
Thank you for your question. Make sure that the fabric softener dispenser is installed correctly. To install the fabric softener dispenser, align the two locking tabs on the base of the dispenser with the two small slots on the top of the agitator. Push the dispenser down until you hear it snap into place. If you cannot get the locking tabs to snap into place, check the seal. Also make sure that you are using the correct amount of fabric softener and that you dilute it with water until the liquid reaches the crossbar in the dispenser opening. Overfilling may cause it to dispense too early. We hope this helps!
