Microwave clear door film
This item was exactly as advertised. Easy to remove back film, exposing the adhesive on the clear sheet I was to apply. I peeled back a little of the backing, lined up the sheet to the inside of the door and smoothed on the rest while pulling off that backing.

Outrageous
Part did not fit the door. Part needed to be trimmed to fit. Existing film has been re-installed and is holding. Returning part has come to mind. Believe that the price is outrageous. If your objective is to clean the grid, remove the existing film, clean the grid with X-14 and replace the film.

peel and stick on the inside of the microwave door had a hole
Finding the part was the most difficult as this is a very old microwave. I spoke to a really nice lady and we figured out that even though it was not the exact dimensions of my previous film that it would certainly fit since it was just a little bigger that what I had. Once I got it lined up correctly, it was really easy to put on after I

Dirty/Rusty Window
The metal screen in the door of my microwave was rusting and making my "window" look nasty. I was able to take apart the door w/o removing the microwave, peel off the old plastic seal and clean the nasty parts of the glass door. The rust still remains and may be a future problem. But for now, the cleaning was what the door needed and a

How to apply new door film
For model number MH6150XMT0
Hi Mary. Look at the film and look for a peeling corner. If you do not see an area that is beginning to peel it is okay, you can still remove the film. Grab the corner that is peeling and slowly pull it away from your GE microwave's door. If a corner is not peeling, slide a razor blade under a corner to loosen it up and then peel it back. Peel the entire film away from the door. If it is not peeling away easily, use a glue remover spray, but ensure to wipe the door with soap and water after to remove the chemicals. Remove the sticker backing from the new mesh film sheet. Line the new piece of film up to your GE microwave's door. Press the mesh film sheet down at one corner and slowly lay it across the remainder of the microwave's door until fully covered. Smooth out any bubbles by rubbing the mesh film with a spatula or credit card. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.

How to remove old peel and stick?
For model number MH6150XMT-0
Hello and thank you for writing.
Take apart the door, you should be able to do this without having to take the door off. Just start at one corner using a putty knife to pry the film up a little and just peel it off. Make sure to clean the glass thoroughly before applying the new film. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
