My washer will not agitate or spin and shows f01. Will this board take care of my problem (10163007). Washer fills and the door locks ok

Hello Alfred, Thank you for the question. The F01 indicates a failed electronic machine control board, PartSelect Number PS11749298. This error code can at times be caused by a glitch or power surge. You might be able to clear this code by unplugging the washer for about 5 minutes. If the code returns, then the electronic machine control board will need to be replaced. After installing the ps11749298 machine control board the f01 error code came up again. Unplugged the washe waited 5 minutes did not help. The washer fills started agitation. Drained. Slow spin went to code f01 again. Would like to have more help. Thank you

Hello Alfred, thank you for your question. The F1 Error code means the control board is having difficulty communicating with the motor. If the board was replaced but you're still getting that error you should check the wiring between the board and the motor, and if that is ok, not loose or degraded then the issue is probably the motor. Front load washer blew a circuit and it won't agitate or spin. The water runs in and the door stays locked. When we unplugged it and plugged it back in after 10 minutes. We changed the setting to an express load and it ran in water, sat there, then when it came time to drain, the wash light started flashing and it just stopped.

Hi Cindy, thank you for your question. You may want to take a look at your door lock for being the issue. If that part is not working then it will not allow your appliance to spin. If that part is not the issue then you will have to look at your motor or control board being the issue. Good luck with your repair.

Washer shuts completely off in mid cycle, with no error code.
