The silverware basket is a holder for washing flatware or silverware in your dishwasher. Note: This part has been updated by the manufacturer, it may appear different but will still function the same. This basket is gray in color. To do this repair, open the dishwasher door and slide the bottom rack out. The new basket hooks onto the back rail of the dish rack. Tip: to prolong the life of your basket, keep the sharp end of your cutlery pointed up to prevent cutting through the bottom, and gently place them instead of dropping.

hard water in west Texas is not good for internal parts
so, so easy! Took out the corroded parts and put in the new. the tine row took the longest - had to unclip and reclip.

I’m replacing my cutlery basket and I think I need this one. Does it come with the three lids, do I need to install them myself?
Hi Cass, this cutlery basket WPW10190415 does come with the three lids and they are already attached for you by the manufacturer. You will not need to install anything when you receive this replacement part, just open it up and set it inside your dishwasher. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

The bottom of my flatware basket has been damaged, and fell out. Is there a replacement part for the bottom alone? How do I fix this?

I think this is the basket i need for our kitchenaide dishwasher. I don’t see any measurements for it. Ours is 19 1/4” from end to end. What is the measurement of this one? Thank you, janice

The measurements you have is 20", mine is 191/4" is it really 20" because i don't think that would fit. I've had dishwashers for 40 years and never had the bottom of the basket break before.

You don't list my model number as compatible with this part, but this is the part number I found on the Whirlpool site for my model number. Can you verify if it will fit my model number? My basket measures just 19 1/8 wide and your description says the basket is 20 inches.
