Trying to replace the bottom ignitor on a KitchenAid kgrs505xss02. Can't quite tell if i need to take the back panel off, or if the ignitor can be replaced from inside the front. Lead wires disappear into white insulation. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Max
Hi Max, Thank you for the question. You will need to do the repair from the front and back. You will need to unplug from the back and then remove it from the front. Then insert the new igniter lead through the hole from the inside and pull it out enough through the back to plug it into the harness. Hope this helps!
