Changed all sensors everything work but no heat was wondering if this part could make it not heat
For model number CEM2940TQ1
Hi Bob, thank you for getting in touch. This push button switch does not cause the dryer to not heat. We recommend checking the heating element. If it is fine, check the drive motor, part number PS334304. Dryer drive motors have a centrifugal switch that energizes a start winding when the motor is first started and closes a heat cycle contact to allow the heat source to work. If the motor's centrifugal switch is faulty, either the motor will not run or the motor will run, but the dryer will not heat. Since most centrifugal switches are not sold separately, the entire motor will need to be replaced if the switch is defective. Good luck with the repair!
