Oven doesn’t light. Or occasionally lights and goes out quickly. Repairman diagnosis oven spark igniter and ignition module?

Hello Jeff, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, this issue is most probably because of these parts: the bake igniter, part number PS11752876, and the spark module, part number PS11755834. You can test the ohms of resistance on the oven bake igniter with a multi-meter. It should read between 40 and 400 ohms to be functioning correctly. Good luck with the repair!

We have a Whirlpool oven , model wfg710h0ah1 . The oven will start and after about 20 seconds it will go out . Can you tell me what part is needed . Thank you chris

Hi when turn my oven for baking i hear clicks from ignitor but the flame does not start what can be the cause?

Hi Damon, thank you for contacting us. Based on our understanding, the issue is with the gas valve, part number PS16217970. The gas valve controls the gas supply for the bake and broil burners and limits the incoming gas pressure to a safe and constant level. We would recommend checking the valve to fix the issue.
