The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This hose attaches to water pump assembly.
NOTE: As per the manufacture if the washer has an Eco Ball, it's no longer needed when the new hose is installed.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.
I romoved the front of the washer access panel. I then used the pliers to remove the clamps from the old hose and to replaceit with the new one.

Washer leaking
Opened the front panel with 3 crews T-25 or socket wrench. Panel comes off right away.
Look for the leak. Determined it was the hose. Use power pliers to remove the clamp.
The small clamp was easy. The big one I had to use my yoga to get to it. It probably would had been easy from the back panel but moving the machi

Once the hose was out I found some bra under wires which is what probably punctured the hose.
Removed the front filter and found a bunch of nails.
Assembly was much easier and placed clamps so that if needed it would be a lot easier to remove and replace.

I've been seeing a good amount of small pieces in the drained water in my sink. Clothes are clean. Is it the peeling from the aged rubber of this part? I changed the drain pump in the past summer.
For model number GHW9100LQ1
Hello Cindy, Thank you for the question. If pieces of the hose are wearing off and coming out in the water, the house will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

Continued from my previous question. Is it the pump hose I need to replace?
For model number GHW9100LQ1
Hi Cindy,
Thank you for your question. To verify if the particles you are seeing are coming from the pump hose, you will need to inspect the hose for signs of damage and wear. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. Check the drain pump as well to make sure that the part is in good condition. If the pump is damaged and has pieces breaking off from it, it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Current pump hose has a light spring-loaded ball in a rubber housing that is contained within the pump hose. Is this the Eco ball?
For model number 110.45091400
Hi Michael, thank you for contacting us. The ball that you have mentioned is the tub-to-pump check ball, part number PS1491714, that prevents water from flowing in the wrong direction. We hope this information is useful!
